A tragic incident occurred late Thursday night at Vista Point on Lopes Road in the city of Benicia, resulting in a fatality. The incident was reported at approximately 10:30 PM on August 7, 2025. Emergency services were promptly dispatched to the scene, with units arriving shortly after the call was made.

The coroner was notified and arrived on the scene at 10:52 PM, confirming the fatality. The exact circumstances leading to the incident remain under investigation, and authorities have not released further details regarding the victim or the cause of the incident.
