Hit-and-Run Incident Leaves Motorist Injured on I-680 in San Jose

A hit-and-run collision involving two vehicles occurred on the southbound I-680 at the South King Road offramp in San Jose on the evening of August 4, 2025. The incident, reported at approximately 7:57 PM, resulted in one vehicle being pushed off the freeway into a bush area, causing significant damage.

Emergency services, including the San Jose Fire Department and towing services, were promptly dispatched to the scene. One vehicle, described as a white sedan, was found approximately 10 feet up an embankment with damage all around. The driver of the vehicle reportedly exited the car following the collision. The other vehicle involved in the incident fled the scene, and authorities are currently investigating the hit-and-run.

Motorists in the area are advised to exercise caution and remain vigilant for any debris or obstructions on the roadway.
