Major Traffic Collision on US101 in San Francisco Leaves Multiple Injured

A severe traffic collision occurred early this morning on Wondercolor Lane Onramp to US101 Northbound in San Francisco, resulting in multiple major injuries. The incident took place at approximately 12:24 AM on September 1, 2024. Emergency services were promptly dispatched to the scene, where they found a vehicle blocking the onramp and a traffic sign severely damaged.

According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), the collision was initially reported as a major injury traffic incident. One party was transported to San Francisco General Hospital with significant injuries to the leg and hip. The vehicle involved was moved out of the roadway to clear the path for other motorists, and the damaged traffic sign was reported to Caltrans for urgent repair.

Motorists are advised to exercise caution when traveling through the area as repairs to the traffic sign are underway.
