Multi-Vehicle Collision Causes Major Delays on US 101 in San Bruno

A serious traffic collision involving four vehicles occurred on the northbound lanes of US 101 near the San Bruno Avenue offramp in San Bruno on January 22, 2025, at approximately 6:30 PM. The collision involved a black Chevrolet Trax, a white Lexus NX350, and two other vehicles, leading to major front and rear-end damage.

Emergency responders, including the California Highway Patrol and local fire services, quickly arrived at the scene, blocking all four lanes of the highway to manage the situation and ensure the safety of those involved. A 2023 Honda CRV was among the vehicles towed from the scene by Atlantis Tow, as per the California Vehicle Code. Fortunately, the roadway was cleared and reopened by 7:26 PM, although residual delays continued to affect traffic flow in the area.
