Multi-Vehicle Collision on I-680 in San Jose Causes Major Traffic Delays

A significant traffic collision involving four vehicles occurred on northbound Interstate 680 near the Berryessa Road offramp in San Jose at approximately 12:23 PM today. The incident involved a white Tesla Model Y, a black Bentley sedan, and two other unidentified vehicles. The collision resulted in debris scattered across the roadway and caused major traffic disruptions.

Emergency services, including the California Highway Patrol (CHP) and San Jose Fire Department, responded promptly to the scene. Tow trucks from multiple companies were dispatched to clear the vehicles and debris. The collision blocked several lanes, leading to a complete halt in traffic for an extended period. Fortunately, no fatalities have been reported, but the extent of injuries remains unclear at this time.

Motorists are advised to avoid the area and seek alternative routes while cleanup and investigation efforts continue. The CHP has urged drivers to exercise caution and patience as they navigate the surrounding roads.
