A multi-vehicle collision occurred this morning on southbound US 101 near the Woodside Road offramp in Redwood City, resulting in injuries and significant traffic disruptions. The incident, which took place at approximately 7:55 AM on August 30, 2024, involved three vehicles, including a motorcycle.

Emergency responders arrived promptly at the scene, where they found one individual suffering from a bloody nose and lower back pain. The injured party was transported to a nearby hospital for further medical evaluation. The collision initially blocked lanes 3, 4, and the auxiliary lane, causing a major traffic backup during the morning commute. Authorities worked swiftly to clear the scene, and all lanes were reopened by 8:29 AM.
