A tragic traffic collision occurred this morning on Interstate 880 South near the Eastbound A Street on-ramp in Hayward, California. At approximately 8:12 AM, a Honda CR-V struck a pedestrian, prompting an immediate response from emergency services.

Units were swiftly dispatched to the scene, arriving within minutes of the incident. The extent of the pedestrian’s injuries remains unknown at this time, but emergency medical personnel were en route to provide necessary care. The incident caused temporary disruptions, although it was confirmed that the collision did not block the roadway.
