A tragic traffic collision occurred this morning at the intersection of Walnut Rd and Seven Hills Rd in the early hours of August 27, 2024. At approximately 7:45 AM, a grey Nissan Rogue struck a pedestrian, blocking the roadway and prompting an immediate response from local authorities and emergency services.

Emergency units were dispatched promptly, with the first responders arriving on the scene by 7:59 AM. The pedestrian’s condition has not been disclosed, but the severity of the incident necessitated the presence of both the Sheriff’s Office and fire department personnel. The road was temporarily obstructed as emergency services attended to the scene and ensured the safety of all involved.

This incident underscores the importance of road safety for both drivers and pedestrians. Motorists are urged to exercise caution, particularly in areas with high foot traffic, and pedestrians are reminded to remain vigilant when crossing streets.
