A traffic collision occurred on northbound Interstate 280 near the San Tomas Expressway undercrossing in San Jose at approximately 4:36 PM on September 3, 2024. The incident involved a vehicle that became immobilized in the middle lane, causing significant disruption and resulting in injuries to the occupants.

Emergency services were promptly dispatched to the scene, with units arriving by 4:44 PM. The reporting party, who was traveling with her children, complained of injuries, necessitating immediate medical attention. The vehicle was eventually moved to the right-hand shoulder, and all lanes were reopened by 5:06 PM.
