A traffic collision involving a gray Jeep and a black SUV occurred on northbound I-280 just south of the Mariposa Street offramp at approximately 4:45 PM on August 27, 2024. The incident resulted in the driver of the black vehicle requesting medical assistance for neck pain. Emergency services, including the San Francisco Fire Department and paramedics, were promptly dispatched to the scene.

The collision caused significant disruption, blocking the number one lane and leading to traffic congestion in the area. Authorities quickly responded, with units arriving on the scene by 4:53 PM. A tow truck was also requested to remove the black SUV from the roadway to clear the obstruction.
