Traffic Collision on Lawrence Expressway Leaves One with Head Injury

A serious traffic collision occurred late Sunday night on the Lawrence Expressway South Onramp at US 101 North in San Jose. The incident, reported at 9:55 PM on September 1, 2024, involved a white BMW and a Mercedes Benz. Emergency vehicles were dispatched to the scene shortly after the collision was reported.

According to initial reports, one individual sustained a head injury. The California Highway Patrol (CHP) updated the incident status from a non-injury collision to one requiring emergency medical response. The injured party’s condition remains unknown at this time, but the presence of emergency responders indicates the severity of the situation.
