A traffic collision involving a gray 2013 Nissan Frontier occurred on the eastbound side of State Route 116 near Redwood Drive in Santa Rosa on the night of August 31, 2024. The incident, reported at approximately 9:55 PM, resulted in the vehicle veering 10-15 feet off the roadway and sustaining major damage.

Emergency responders, including Medic 576, arrived promptly at the scene. One individual was transported to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital with moderate injuries. The injured party is currently receiving medical care, and their condition is being closely monitored. Occidental Tow was dispatched to remove the damaged vehicle from the scene.

Authorities urge drivers to exercise caution when traveling on SR116, particularly in the vicinity of Redwood Drive. The cause of the collision is under investigation, and motorists are reminded to adhere to speed limits and remain vigilant to ensure road safety.
