Traffic Collision on US 101 in Cotati Leaves One Unconscious

A serious traffic collision occurred early Monday morning on US 101 Northbound in Cotati, California. The incident, reported at approximately 12:23 AM, involved a blue Ford Fusion and a semi-trailer. Emergency services were promptly dispatched to the scene, where they found the driver of the Ford Fusion unconscious inside the vehicle with the door locked.

The collision led to the closure of the #3 lane, while lanes #1 and #2 remained open to traffic. A flare pattern was set up to manage the flow of vehicles and ensure the safety of other motorists. The Ford Fusion was later towed from the scene by Creams Tow, as per the instructions of Officer Robinson.

Authorities have not yet released information on the condition of the unconscious driver. Motorists are advised to exercise caution while traveling through the area and to be mindful of ongoing traffic management efforts. Our thoughts are with those affected by this unfortunate incident.
