A traffic collision involving a black Jeep and a large dump truck occurred on the southbound US 101 near Todd Road in Santa Rosa on the morning of January 7, 2025. The incident was reported at approximately 9:26 AM when the Jeep attempted to avoid metal debris that had fallen from the dump truck, resulting in the vehicle ending up sideways in the lane.

Emergency services promptly responded to the scene, and the roadway was temporarily blocked as crews worked to clear the debris and assess the situation. The driver of the Jeep sustained injuries and was transported to Kaiser Hospital by Medic 525. The roadway was cleared shortly after, and traffic flow resumed.
