Two-Vehicle Collision on Sir Francis Drake Blvd Leaves One Injured

Anderson Franco Law

A two-vehicle collision occurred on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard near Olema Road in Marin County on the evening of June 13, 2025. The incident, reported at approximately 8:19 PM, involved a light blue Toyota Echo and a white Acura. Emergency services were promptly dispatched to the scene following an iPhone crash notification.

One individual sustained injuries in the crash, including chest, neck, back, left foot, and right shin injuries. The injured party was transported to Kaiser Terra Linda Medical Center for further evaluation and treatment. The severity of the injuries is currently unknown, but the individual is receiving medical care. Our thoughts are with the victim and their family during this difficult time.

Both vehicles involved in the collision were towed from the scene by ATA Towing South. Authorities are investigating the cause of the accident. Motorists are advised to exercise caution when traveling through the area, as traffic disruptions may continue while the investigation is underway.

Potential Legal Considerations

When someone gets hurt because of someone else’s carelessness, it’s called negligence. In a situation where a person is injured in an accident, they might have the right to seek compensation. This means they can ask for money to help cover things like medical bills and other costs that come from the accident. To prove negligence, the injured person needs to show that the other person had a duty to be careful, they didn’t do their duty, and that caused the injury.

In many cases, the person who caused the accident might have insurance. This insurance can help pay for the costs related to the accident. For example, if someone is hurt in a car accident, the driver at fault might have car insurance that covers injuries. The injured person can file a claim with the insurance company to get money for their medical expenses and other losses.

It’s important for the injured person to gather evidence to support their claim. This can include things like photos from the accident scene, witness statements, and medical records. Having strong evidence can help the injured person prove their case and get the compensation they deserve. If the insurance company doesn’t offer a fair amount, the injured person might need to talk to a lawyer to help them get what they need.
